Safeguarding
The safety and well being of your child is paramount in all that we do. Staff working in our settings all have a legal duty of care towards the children attending and this means that we have a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at each setting. We will determine who has parental responsibility for each child before they start with us and ensure that all our staff have read and understood the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and remain up to date with safeguarding training, legislation and procedures.

Promoting good health and wellbeing is an important component of safeguarding children and we ensure there are high standards of hygiene and cleanliness and to do all we can to prevent the spread of infections and illnesses in our settings. In addition we have procedures for supporting children with medical needs or who appear unwell during the day. We ask our parents to support us with encouraging healthy eating and we will ensure fresh drinking water is accessible at all times and meeting first aid requirements.
